The aim of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the field of counseling . Its scope counseling in education, Sections include research, assessment, supervision in counseling, Islamic Counseling, health counseling, sexual abuse, violence addition counseling, multi-cultural counseling, crisis intervention, trauma counseling, ITC in counseling, counseling career, spiritual counseling, Islamic marriage and family counseling, Islamic counseling and psychotherapy. Papers published in twice a year (June and December): (1) evaluation reports and research findings; (2) conceptual and methodological issues; and/or (3) implications of the above for action; and/or (4) an extensive book reviews section and also occasional reports on counseling and educational materials and equipment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh kemampuan siswa dalam aspek berbicara masih kurang, kebanyakan siswa malu dan ragu-ragu saat mengungkapkan gagasan dan ide mereka. Keberanian mengutarakan gagasan tanpa diminta oleh guru masih kurang. Kebanyakan para siswa masih malu dan kurang percaya diri dalam mengungkapkan pendapat. Selain itu kesulitan merangkai kata ketika berbicara juga menjadi kendala siswa saat berpendapat. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa dengan media boneka tangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan Pre Esperimental Design, bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 17 siswa kelas II B SD Negeri 10 Langsa. Sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas II B SD Negeri 10 Langsa yang berjumlah 17 siswa. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pernyataan dengan jumlah 21 pernyataan yang telah valid. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbandingan hasil keterampilan berbicara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media boneka tangan di kelas II SD Negeri 10 Langsa. Berdasarkan hasil dari perhitungan nilai t_hitung berjumlah -31,316, sedangkan nilai dari t_tabel dengan taraf signifikan 5% adalah 2,120. Ternyata -t_hitung= -31,316 dan t_tabel= 2,120 (-2,120 > -31,316) maka Ho ditolak dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan di kelas eksperimen antara pretest dan posttest (H_a diterima). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media boneka tangan di kelas II SD Negeri 10 Langsa.

Abstract

Bullying or bullying is a phenomenon that continues to occur even though it is associated with various negative impacts. This study aims to examine the effect of bullying behaviour on social anxiety in the context of adolescent victims of bullying in Aceh. This research is a quantitative causality study. 30 teenagers (boys = 63%, girls = 37%) aged 13 to 18 who were victims of bullying voluntarily participated in this study. Data was collected using a questionnaire containing questions related to identity, bullying scale, and social anxiety scale. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that there is an effect of bullying on social anxiety. The results showed that bullying significantly predicted social anxiety, b= .448, t(28) = 6.20, p<.001. Where bullying significantly affects social anxiety by 57.9% (R2=57.9, F(1,28)=38.55, p<.001). The results of this study can be used as a reference for policymakers and mental health practitioners in undertaking the phenomenon of bullying and its impact on social anxiety in adolescents.

Abstract

Academic challenges faced by students can vary and have an impact on their psychological well-being. One of the demands that can lead to academic anxiety is the preparation of a thesis. Limited time, parental pressure, costs, understanding of the research topic, and interactions with the supervising professors can all contribute to these issues. The purpose of this study is to describe the anxiety experienced by students in preparing their theses and to analyze the influence of religiosity and perfectionism on this anxiety. We employed an online survey research design. Over a period of approximately three weeks, 131 students from the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business at a university in the Jambi Province, Indonesia, participated in completing the Academic Anxiety Scale, Religiosity among Muslim Scale, and Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (FMPS). The research findings revealed that students' anxiety levels during thesis preparation fell under the moderate category. Furthermore, a significant influence of religiosity and perfectionism on the experienced anxiety was identified. This indicates that strong and active religiosity may be associated with lower levels of anxiety. These findings have important implications for prevention and alleviation programs targeting academic anxiety experienced by students. Counseling services within universities need to be maximized to identify specific factors that contribute to these issues, along with implementing corresponding intervention programs. Furthermore, the academic guidance process provided by supervising professors can also be utilized as one of the prevention strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze how bullying behavior in students and efforts to handle bullying behavior in Langsa Integrated MIS. The research method used is descriptive analytic qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. By way of narrative analysis: this technique involves collecting and analyzing data in the form of stories or narratives from individuals who have experienced bullying or were involved in efforts to deal with it, to understand the experiences and perspectives of informants. The results of the study are that there is bullying behavior of students at Langsa Integrated MIS, the form of the behavior is in the form of physical, verbal, psychosocial and social media. Physically, the forms of bullying include hitting, tripping, pinching, kicking, refusing, taking and breaking things. The forms of verbal bullying include mocking/calling friends names with certain nicknames (name calling), calling parents names, and yelling or compromising (asking for something by force). Psychologically by isolating, and finally cyber bullying by humiliating. The intensity of bullying at the Integrated MIS is slow when viewed in terms of its frequency, there are acts of bullying carried out by students every day and there are at least 1-2 cases. Meanwhile, when viewed from the quality, the bullying that occurs in general can be said from mild bullying to moderate bullying. This can be seen from the impact that only a few felt sick, the rest cried and felt scared after the bullying. The handling efforts that have been carried out at the Langsa Integrated MIS include coaching and supervision, such as advising and monitoring student activities during free hours or outside the classroom so that bullying behavior does not repeat itself.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang menghambat penyelesaian studi mahasiswa jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling di salah satu Universitas pada provinsi Aceh. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dengan kriteria dari jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling, dan telah melewati masa studi normal yaitu 4 tahun. Jumlah subjek adalah 19 orang mahasiswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian, bahwa mahasiswa jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang terlambat menyelesaikan studi dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal yaitu kurangnya motivasi belajar, kesehatan, manajemen waktu, dan kemampuan. Selanjutnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal yaitu dukungan keluarga, pemgaruh teman sebaya, bimbingan, administrasi skripsi, dan referensi mengerjakan skripsi. Adapun faktor yang mendominasi adalah faktor internal yaitu kurangnya motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Abstrak Every individual wants family harmony in forming a family. Awareness of role and function and acceptance of existence and existence become a strong foundation in running a household. In realizing a harmonious household, there are often problematic phenomena in the family such as quarrels, jealousy, infidelity, income differences, differences in life principles and leading to the act of lending the marriage lor lthe divorce or lproblems that occur lin lthe life of lthe household lshould lbe resolved lso that lthe harmony of lthe family lremains land lis realized. The increase in the rarity of divorce has raised the issue of the decline in the value of family harmony and the institution of the family is not always a good place for children's development. The line research is a library research approach which is sourced from books about realizing household harmony using family counseling. With the approach of family counseling, it is used as an intervention process for problems that interfere with family harmony. Family counseling tries to build closer relationships, individuals who are able to control their emotions, and families who always have good communication in realizing family harmony. Abstract

Good moral education can potentially create human beings who are faithful, devoted and have intellectual intelligence. Ideally students as agents of change must be able to bring change in society, nation and state. Students should have moral reasoning according to their developmental tasks, namely in the conventional post stage. But in reality students' moral reasoning is still in the conventional stage. The purpose of this study is to know the description of student moral reasoning. This research is using experimental method. The study population was students of the Faculty of Education, Padang State University. The research sample was students of Guidance and Counseling. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results of the study found that students' moral reasoning is still classified as a conventional stage with a low category, it is expected that the presence of the latest methods or approaches can be a reference in guidance and counseling.
